Fans of Grand Theft Auto VI are once again deep in speculation territory—this time thanks to rapper Travis Scott and his latest music video, 2000 Excursion. With the game still nearly a year away, a moment at the 3:55 mark has ignited fresh rumors: Scott is shown standing beside a sleek Ferrari featuring a license plate that reads “GTA VI6.”
The easter egg has fans buzzing online, with many wondering if this is a subtle teaser about Scott’s possible involvement in Rockstar Games’ most anticipated release in over a decade. While nothing has been confirmed by either Scott or Rockstar, the community is running wild with theories—ranging from a cameo appearance to a soundtrack contribution, or even a potential character role.
This isn’t Scott’s first brush with the gaming world. The Houston-born artist made headlines in 2020 with his Astronomical concert event inside Fortnite, which drew over 12 million concurrent players and pushed the limits of what’s possible in virtual entertainment. A collaboration with Rockstar wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility, especially considering the company’s past history of blending music and culture into its iconic open-world environments.
Meanwhile, Rockstar continues to keep official details about Grand Theft Auto VI tightly under wraps. Still, that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from churning. Just this week, a new insider leak claimed that GTA 6 Online could support up to 64 players per server, doubling the capacity of GTA Online, with internal targets allegedly aiming as high as 96.
Add to that speculation surrounding returning voice actors from GTA V and an increasingly long list of supposed features, and it’s clear the hype for Grand Theft Auto VI is hitting new levels. Whether the “GTA VI6” plate in Travis Scott’s video is just a clever reference or something much bigger remains to be seen.
But one thing’s for sure—every little detail is being examined under a magnifying glass until Rockstar finally lifts the curtain for good.
